27 is near elderly for a gal in America. It's probably a good thing I didn't take up acting as a profession because my career would be near over (oh. Except *I'd* be a major star and desired the world over for many many years until I died and then everyone would cry and watch my film festivals and have sightings of me and all that sort of thing).
Is there *any* noncelebrity who is living the life they want?

Do we have celebrities and heroes because they're the only people who actually take risks? In front of everyone at that?

How *convenient* that all the *really* important people in the Bible have Anglo names. For instance:
The sons of Jesse (he's important) are Eliab, Abinadab, Shimea, Nethanel, Raddai and Ozem. Whatever. The important one's name is David. Because ancient Jews used names like that. Also...Mary. Uh huh. I'm sure you can find hundreds of Marys just sprinkled throughout the Middle East. Or Greece. And Latin's a dead language but I bet ancient Romans used Mary lots too. ;)
I realize that it is possible that they *did* use names like that--and that the spread of Christianity has allowed some of these names to 'stick' and now these are considered the norm in Western nameships. I do wonder if King James had a bit to do with that though. Just slightly disturbing.
