The baby.
In 2 days some of us will be celebrating the birth of a Jewish baby.
Focusing on the story itself rather than the veracity of it, the idea of a heavenly body being born in a barn in the middle of nowhere is irresistible. A tremendous amount of hope in something like that, which usually I frown deeply on, but you can't really frown at babies. You never know who they'll be.

I have been unfortunately delinquent...that situation should be improving.

Victor Puschenko's poisoned face.
I've been looking at Victor Puschenko's transformation for more than a week now, for a few reasons. One is to marvel at the lengths some will go to destroy others. One is because of the characters in my book is poisoned. The biggest reason, though, is that I wonder what kind of man it takes to push forward even after having been poisoned.
I know so many cowardly men.

On another note (perhaps the same note):
My date was okay.
Was someone really waiting for a post on event horizon? Sorry!
